Looks like a great conference. I can't attend ($) . However, I wanted to let you know that we use wikis to support our internal communities. They use them to share what they are doing and what they would like to work on. They use them to develop competency frameworks. They use them to work remotely on projects for clients. They use them as a way for people to build profiles and find expertise across the company. They use them to document their research and to share that research with others across the company that may be interested in the reseach that they are doing. Some communities use them exclusively because they are so much easier to use than our internal portal for sharing content even though it is not made to support that. It is very easy to work in a wiki so people use it. Ask your questions or send me an email and I will share what I can. Not sure where else to share this information so felt a comment may get others to jump on board and share how they use wikis in their communities even if they do not have the ($) to attend the conference or join this group.

Thanks for catching that typo, John. I fixed it, so your comment might mystify some people. I do plan to be at the RecentChangesCamp and am talking it up to everyone I know.

In Sri Lanka seeing friends, etc. for the first time in three years, so unlikely to make much of this, but hope you have a great conference, and to see you all at RecentChangesCamp in February in Portland!

p.s. you've got the conference tag as waawaat and waatwaat - it's the latter i'm guessing?
